Deposit & Cancellation Policy

A £499 booking fee is taken at booking to reserve your start date and on-site survey and to begin design and pre-construction work. The £499 comes straight off your 10% deposit — the balance of the deposit is due once your on-site survey is completed, signed off and you're happy to proceed.

You may cancel within 14 days of your booking date for a full refund of your £499 booking fee. If you have also paid the deposit balance in that window, that too is refunded in full.

Cancellations made more than 14 days after your booking are subject to a £499 administration fee (i.e. the booking fee is retained), plus any third-party expenses or statutory fees already committed on your behalf (for example Building Control fees, ordered materials, or structural calculations).

You can ask to move your reserved start date at any time. If you request a change within two (2) weeks of the agreed commencement date, a rescheduling fee may be chargeable, as your slot, labour and materials will already have been committed. We will confirm the amount of any fee with you before applying it.

Where express service is selected, the booking fee and the £2,499 express fee become non-refundable on payment, as we begin commissioning your slot immediately.

If The Extension Works cancels your booking, your booking fee and any deposit paid are refunded in full.
